The main facts about past editions of the WRO Biennale – especially the competitions and prizewinners – are summarized below. There are links to be found inside of each edition leading to the archived websites of every WRO Biennale since 1997. To ensure that history is accurately represented, we’ve preserved each site’s original format, without any technological updating. This means that some of the archival material may not be supported by current browsers – but most of the old software solutions still work, and they convey an authentic image not only of WRO’s historical development, but also of various phases in the evolution of the Internet.
