Info

An event of the POLISH SOUNDSCAPES exhibition. A musical meeting with Sebastian Milewski – a member of Poland’s youngest generation of sound artists.

The live act performed at the WRO builds on his debut album Kilka procesów (A few processes), which was released by Gorzów-based DYM Records in October 2018.

Milewski will take us on a trip into a world that revels in jangle, vivid tunes and phonic shocks, but will also treat us to a melancholy listening session replete with ambient-noise experiences. Amidst synthesizers, we will hear sounds gleaned from our surroundings, bits of old recordings and scraps of conversations.

Sebastian Milewski (1995) – studies Painting at the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław. His major interests include visual arts and music. As part of the Wkurvv collective, he is engaged in promoting Wrocław’s young music scene. He also plays in the band Młyn (with Cezary Rosiński and Michał Wdowikowski).
