Info

I made a construction, consisting of a black sheet table and a built-in heating system, which serves as a form for melting the figure’s paraffin casting placed on the top. The process of melting takes several hours, during which the paraffin gradually flows down three holes, drilled in the table top, to the matrix made of polyester laminate, placed under it. As a result, there is a synthetic paraffin casting with a multilayer structure occuring. My work refers to the subject of seeking and building identity, its constant transformation and a futile pursuit of the ideal.
