SUBJECTIVE ATLAS OF REALITY

birdwatching & drawing
September 9, 2017 / Saturday / 9 AM

Info

After a holiday break, we invite you for another walk with sketchbook in hand. End of summer, cool morning and suburban park are great conditions for birdwatching and drawing. So we will be watching and listening to birds whose appearance, the way of singing and flying, or the inhabited environment can inspire us to draw. In this way, with the help of notes, sketches and associations, we will create the subsequent cards of the Subjective Atlas of Reality.

The activity will be led by Lena Czerniawska – a Macondo-related cartoonist and Hanna Sztwiertnia – a Doctor of Philosophy in Biological Sciences who conducts various types of ornithological research and also deals with environmental education.

The action has a free and casual nature, with no age restrictions, and drawing skills are not necessary.

It starts at 9 AM and will take about 2 hours. We are meeting in front of the Lesnica Castle, from where we will head north into the wider areas. We’ll have drawing kits and binoculars for all participants.

The walk is for free and there is no registration necessary.
