Storytelling workshops with Gosia Wrzosek and Zofia Mazurek as part of the exhibition What Is It Like?

Three-day workshops November 6-8, 2025
November 6, 2025 – Thursday – 5:00-7:00 PM
November 7, 2025 – Friday – 5:00-7:00 PM
November 8, 2025 – Saturday – 12:00-2:00 PM

During the three-day workshop, participants will read futuristic texts, create their own fictional stories, and record them, experimenting with sound and narration.

Zofia Mazurek, sound artist, will introduce participants to the world of microphones and recording techniques, using a variety of tools and analog instruments. Together with Gosia Wrzosek, participants will search for new forms of storytelling through voice and sound.

The result of the workshop will be a jointly created soundtrack/audiobook/sound art, which will be presented at the WRO Art Center.

Participation is free and the number of places is limited. Please register using the form: HERE.

Zofka Mazurek – a sound enthusiast, works seasonally: in the summer and spring on film sets as a sound engineer; in the fall and winter, she hides away with her speakers in sound post-production – editing interviews, podcasts, sound design, and mixing. In her free time, she loves playing the piano, playing sports, and watching movies.

The exhibition What Is It Like? is presented in collaboration between the WRO Art Center and the London gallery arebyte, with the support of the British Council, as part of the UK/Poland Season 2025 program.
