Paweł Janicki’s audiovisual installation FLUX premiered at 2018 Art Ii Biennial STATES OF MATTER with the motto WATER, and it is now being permanently exhibited at WRO Art Center. That site-specific installation located in a toilet accessible to all visitors takes the idea of screen mirroring very literally.

The message from the installation, which refers to horror fiction movie/literature or the work of Duchamp and the irony of Fluxus, plays with the contexts of dark ecology, black humor and cosmic pessimism towards the disappearing resources without which we cannot exist. The work disturbs the reality, using flux of both water and electronic media, opening up the door to the parallel world.
