Based on the experiences of residential projects carried out together with international partners, such as art-in-residence or Goethe@WRO, WRO kept on developing residential programs in 2016.

The cooperation with the Goethe-Institut, the Austrian Cultural Forum in Warsaw and the Artist-in-Residence Program A-i-R Wro run within the framework of the European Capital of Culture – Wroclaw 2016 resulted in supporting four scholarships at WRO Art Center and one in C. Rockefeller Center for the Contemporary Arts in Dresden.

In 2016 we were developing the Goethe@WRO program and run a new residential project for artists from Austria. As part of the WRO’s Art Mediation program and in collaboration of the Artist-in-Residence Program A-i-R Wro run within the framework of the European Capital of Culture – Wroclaw 2016 we held residencies for artists and curators from Arnhem and Dresden.
