Info
As part of the #muzealniaki action that encourages parents to spend time with children in galleries and museums, we would like to invite you to WRO Art Center for the “Museum Day for Children”. There are numerous special attractions for children and their parents prepared by many museums and galleries in Wrocław and not only. The event takes place one year after the launch of the #muzealniaki action and just after the Children’s Day, i.e. on June 3, 2018 (Sunday).
On that day – like every week, we meet at WRO during the Sunday Matinée. We have prepared a special screening of animations made by students and graduates of art academies, accompanying the 4th Best Media Art Graduation Projects Competition exhibition. After the screening, there will be creative family activities related to the exhibition.
PROGRAM OF THE SCREENING:
Instrukcja wchodzenia po schodach, Maciej Jędrzejec, Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw
Skarb Waregów, Katarzyna Odrobińska, Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw
Orkiestra, Andrei Isakov, Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw

The full program of the event can be found on the Pan Tadeusz Museum website, which is the initiator of the #muzealniaki action. All the Museum Day for Children events are for free (some of them are subject to prior registration; see the websites of the organizers).
While visiting museums and galleries, do not forget the #muzealniaki hashtag and to tag the @muzealniaki action. You can follow the tagged photos on Instagram.
Taking this opportunity, we would also like to invite you to follow the #muzealniakiczytają series run by Magdalena Kreis since February 2018 every Monday, when most of the galleries and museums are closed. Every week, she offers books related to art, design, and museums. She picks reads of her small collection, but also some fresh proposals. The series can be followed on the #muzealniaki action profile on Facebook.
