The EEC Lab: Metabolism of the Anthropocene exhibition is a synthesis of the key themes and excerpts from the exhibitions that have built the Eco Expanded City project so far, i.e. Utopias, Synthetic Nature, and Purifications. Issues we would like to touch upon have been translated into authorial commentaries, artist talks, or video documentations that, along with the selected micro-fragments of the scientific and critical writings, are now building a context for a number of forthcoming projects, presentations and workshop activities towards the end of the year 2016.

It is a proposition of the possible and necessary forms of reflection on the directions and consequences of the ever expanding human impact on Earth.

Eco Expanded City is a project carried out by WRO Art Center within the European Capital of Culture Wroclaw 2016 program as part of the City of the Future / Laboratory Wroclaw program (curated by Edwin Bendyk).
