Maciej Markowski (born 1976), musician and programmer. Co-created Małe Instrumenty band (albums: Antonisz and a music spectacle Sound Power Plant awarded with the OFF Toucan of the 29th PPA in Wrocław), played in Kariera band (Miasto and Kołysanki albums), co-created the project Gorgeous Songs which also received the OFF Toucan award but of the 36th PPA. Along with four amateur musicians created ironically-experimental pseudo marine project Shantharion. Makes music videos (Kariera – Manekiny, Koniec wakacji) and creates and codes multimedia installations (Urban player, Quartet for tomatoes, Mirrors). Amongst others cooperated with Wrocław Contemporary Museum, BWA Wrocław, Music Theatre Capitol, Children Art Centre in Poznań, Wro Art Center and Centre for Contemporary Art in Warsaw. Leads artist residence program in his family rural estate Czerwony Dworek 8.
