How to sing about love? Loud, with commitment and understanding, in any language…

The December evening in WRO will become a great opportunity to sing love songs in languages ​​from around the world. Jana Shostak, author of the “i love you!” video presented at the 2017 WRO Biennale, invites to an unusual karaoke. As she says: “Sometimes a pleasant (love) form of sound does not combine with understanding of the content.”

The pre-made transcriptions will let you sing songs from different parts of the world. We will sing to pink megaphones that Jana Shostak uses in her actions to convey positive messages.

The karaoke will follow the screening of the video and a short introduction by Jana about the inflation of love in times of excessive information.

On Friday, the following rules apply:

1. You sing the song you draw.
2. You say what you think the song is about.
3. If you guessed correctly, you win a surprise.
