Katharina Swoboda, laureate of the first edition of the residency program for artists based in Austria, run together by WRO Art Center and the Austrian Cultural Forum in Warsaw, comes back to WRO to complete her video work she started in 2016 during her stay in Wroclaw. Now – thanks to a scholarship funded by the federal state of Styria – she returns to the WRO archive, which is interested for her both in its structure and materiality (i.e. shelves, cassettes, catalogues, metadata) as well as in the very records themselves.

Together with Katharina, Kamen Stoyanov is arriving to Wroclaw, whose works we presented during the 2017 WRO Biennale. Stoyanov (born in 1977 in Bulgaria) is a visual artist working mainly with video, a graduate of the National Academy of Art in Sofia and Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna.
