The film is a step-by-step guide on how to experience the ball in honor of the fact that young people will not save for retirement. The leading lady’s oversweet smile becomes an excuse for a bit of bitterness à propos an uncertain future.

As a representative of those who are about to enter the job market, I wonder what my future will look like and whether the years I have worked in the future will provide me with a decent pension. My parents’ and grandparents’ generations spent most of their lives watching the world change for the better. My generation, meanwhile, is entering adulthood in a time of deepening political crises, military conflict, major species extinction, droughts, health care crises, and a limping pension system.

Klaudia Prabucka in her work analyzes and reinterprets socio-political conflicts. She loves to play with language and its plasticity. Her works have been shown at the BWA Bielska Gallery and the BWA Gallery in Gorzow Wielkopolski, among others.
