Info
Moving Stories is an international artistic project funded with support from the European Commission within the framework of Culture Programme 2007-2013 and developed by six collaborating art institutions:
– Contour Mechelen, Belgium
– OK Center, Linz, Austria
– EMAF, Osnabrück , Germany
– Videoformes, Clermont-Ferrand, France
– Invideo, Milan, Italy
Poland is represented by WRO Art Center
The aim of this undertaking is to explore innovative narrative strategies employed by contemporary media artists. The end result is six new works of art – from classic linear videos, through single – and multichannel video installations to technologically advanced, complex interactive pieces:
Candice Breitz, The Character, 2010
Rainer Gamsjäger, Cluster, 2010
Mihai Grecu, Under the Centipede Sun, 2011
Paweł Janicki, Oceanus, 2011
MASBEDO, Guardare se stessi guardarsi, 2010
Nicolas Provost, Untitled, 2010
Created works, that form an exhibition presented within the framework of international artistic events organized by collaborating institutions, were selected by a curatorial team from several proposals.
