After the extremely successful sound set of _N_A__G___R____A_ / emiter in April, we’d like to invite you to another music event at WRO.

This time, it’ll be the latest sound performance of three Ukrainian artists: the SVITER art group with Lera Polianskowa and Max Robotov, accompanied by Ivan Switłycznyj, a sculptor, also working with sound and new media. Lera is a scholarship holder of the Gaude Polonia program that’s been realising her residency at WRO since February.

The artists cooperate at various artistic and curatorial activities together, and one of their projects is the TEC creative exposition centre or the Shukhliada networked exhibition environment, which supports independent projects of contemporary artists and integrate them with new technologies. Their activities were presented, among others, in the Ukrainian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale (2017) and as part of the “Vorspiel” exhibition accompanying the transmediale festival in Berlin (2018).

At WRO Art Center, the artists will present their premiere joint realization, which is a synthesis of the possibilities coming from the visual and audio tools. The event will be a continuation of the cycle of audioperformances launched in 2012.
