Feb 5 / Wednesday / 6:00 PM – installation opening and an experimental/ambient music set by DJ rude_era.
The WRO Art Center becomes an interactive environment where children’s dreams can come true. However, imaginary worlds are different from reality – they are strange and have their own rules. Technology, biology, and emotionality blend in a non-hierarchical narrative.
Synthesis
The immersive scenography will be a result of the February workshops aimed at creating an interactive space designed collaboratively with children. Together with the artist, they are going to craft flowers and grass from paper and arrange them into a work for public use. At the root of the artistic concept is the memory of Louis’s childhood dream of bringing to life a world of trees and grass created from paper.
The space will become a recreated version of the natural world, where every plant is handmade, and the ambient sounds of bugs and animals are generated through code, blurring the line between reality and imagination. To adults, this small scene offers a nostalgic window into their childhood, encouraging them to move, interact, and play with the electronic bugs.
This first floor introduces the concept and sets the stage for the main interactive space on the next floor titled The Mirror of Eternal Empathy and Selflessness for the Sake of Others. The installation explores two profound ideas:
The Tall Flower – empathy and positive action:
There are aspects of the world that we can influence for the better. Showing care and empathy, we can spark change and bring about meaningful connections.
The Small Flower – respect and selflessness:
Some things in life cannot – or should not – be controlled. The Small Flower symbolizes the importance of selflessness, patience, and understanding. It reminds us to respect the natural flow of things, allowing them the space and time to grow and evolve independently.
Together, the Flowers invite participants to reflect on the balance between action and restraint, empathy and respect, creating a space for thoughtful interaction and emotional connection.

Vita Louis Magomedova is a young Ukrainian artist who has been a resident at WRO since 2022, where they specialize in creating interactive sound installations and lead Sunday workshops for children.
Louis is a versatile craftsperson with a formal education in the restoration of paintings. They work with various materials, including wood, metal, and clay ceramics. They are also a hairdresser and tattoo artist, and they are currently pursuing a jewelry creation course at SWRAiZ College in Wrocław.
At the WRO Art Center, Louis is developing their interests and skills in robotics, programming and designing interactive media installations under the guidance of Paweł Janicki. Their installations have been designed to captivate both children and adults, inviting audiences to reconnect with the sense of wonder and imagination often associated with childhood.
Through their work, Louis aims to remind people of the joy and meaning found in seemingly nonsensical things during childhood – elements we often overlook in adulthood. Their art practice emphasizes the importance of cooperation and interaction, encouraging individuals to come together to create or make something work as a community.
