The project started six months after the death of the author’s first dog. The law prohibits the burial of animals, the dog has been disposed of.

All photographed animals were found after their death.

Natalia Szczęch, born in 1987 in Kamień Pomorski, graduated in Photography from the Łódź Film School (2012). She is mostly interested in the photobook design, printing and visual identity. Lives and works in Warsaw.
