Info
We invite you to participate in a winter break workshops with a starting point at WRO Art Center, located on Widok (View Street), at the POLISH SOUNDSCAPES exhibition. The workshop is conducted by Henryk Tomaszewski Wrocław Pantomime Theatre performers.
We are going to connect our body movement expression, performance and new media to examine both: how the movements affect images and sounds, but also how the media influence our motions. We will use elements of improvisation, creative writing, physical theatre, and pantomime training.
We will start at WRO Art Center and then move to explore its surroundings and try to discover and move the views on View Street. This workshop is creative research and will be finished with a performance.
The workshop is aimed at children and teenagers aged 10-14. It takes place every day between 29 January and 1 February (Tue-Fri). We suggest you take part in all of the following events: Tuesday-Thursday, 10AM-1PM – the workshop, Friday, 3PM-5PM – rehearsal, 6PM – a performance summarising the workshop.
Participation is free of charge, but the places are limited. Please send an e-mail titled RUCH to zapisy@wrocenter.pl (with your contact number and the child’s age, name and surname in the body).
