Build an experience space with us for the 21st Media Art Biennale WRO 2025 Qualia.

What is the experience of art? How are our senses, emotions, and memories shaped by it? For the 21st Media Art Biennale WRO 2025 Qualia, we are looking for people who want to not only observe but actively participate in the events and explore the spaces of experiencing art together with the audience.

The concept of qualia refers to the subjective qualities of our experiences – how we individually perceive colors, sounds, smells, and emotions. Each of us uniquely experiences the world, and the WRO Biennale is an opportunity to explore these differences and explore together how art affects our senses and perception.

If you are open to new experiences and want to work directly with the WRO team, we invite you to Qualifications, a special program for volunteers. It’s a chance to have a close encounter with media art, artists, and audiences and improve your qualifications.

Qualifications begin with a workshop, during which we will share with you the knowledge of accessibility, inclusivity, content creation, documentation, and Biennale program and exhibition handling. This knowledge will form the basis for choosing your path at Qualia.

What do we offer?

✔️ A training program to improve skills in creating content for social media, documenting artworks, and building inclusive experience spaces, among others.
✔️ Certificate of Qualification.

Important dates:
April 12, 2025, 2:00-4:00 PM – first Qualification meeting
April 13, 2:00-4:00 PM, April 14-17, 4:00-6:00 PM – workshops and expert meetings
May 5-13, 2025 – preparing the Biennale
May 14-18, 2025 – opening events
until June 15 – exhibitions are open
