During Friday’s concert, Rafał Łuc will present four works by contemporary composers. They include the Wrocław premiere performances of compositions by Simon Steen-Andersen and Teoniki Rożenek, as well as works by Marta Śniady and Pierre Jodlowski, internationally renowned people working in Wrocław.

The themes of the works relate to air pollution (Simon Steen-Andersen), the physical condition and stereotypes associated with the appearance of men (Marta Śniady), eschatology, also through reference to and use of quotations from the cinematic masterpiece Apocalypse Now (Pierre Jodlowski), and mysticism (Teoniki Rożynek).

Realized as part of the artistic scholarship of the Wrocław Mayor.
