In the year 2017, WRO Art Center cooperates with the international scholarship program Styria-Artist-In-Residence (St.A.i.R.) funded by the Regional Government of Styria, combining artists living in the European Capitals of Culture. The capital city of Styria is Graz which was the European Capital of Culture in 2003.

From among the artists applying for a scholarship at WRO, an international team of curators chose Susanna Flock from Graz, and Karina Marusińska and Matěj Frank recommended by WRO. The experts from Graz emphasized the high level of our proposal, which resulted in awarding two scholarships, instead of one.

The three-month artists’ stays in Wroclaw and Graz begin in April with the arrival of Susanne Flock.
