Referring to the musical beginnings of the WRO Biennale, we want to welcome the coming year in a truly virtuoso style.

On 1 January at 7:00 PM there will be a premiere of a concert by Duo van Vliet, an authorial project of Rafał Łuc, with the guest appearance of Rafał Zalech. The concert was recorded in WRO spaces and so far has not been made available to a wider audience. It can be said that it is a response to the annual concert of the Vienna Philharmonic.

The concert program includes five pieces by Polish composers:

1. Monika Szpyrka – Unhelpful Thinking Styles for viola, accordion, audio-playback and light projection (2020)
2. Paweł Malinowski – And it rose and it fell and pulsed like a wave for viola, accordion, electronics and video (2020), video author – Konrad Żukowski
3. Rafał Zapała – USŁUGA for viola, accordion and video (2020)
4. Marta Śniady – good things come to those who sweat on accordion, audio-playback and video
5. Piotr Bednarczyk – triggered for four performers (2020)
