WRO is joining the Slow Art Day again. This international event was initiated 9 years ago in Poland. It proposes a qualitative approach to visiting and exploring and talking about museums and art galleries. Within the Slow Art Day art institutions encourage you to leisurely take a look at five chosen works from their collections or exhibitions. This year’s edition topic is LOVE.

This Slow Art Day at WRO will be different than before. This event is… a Facebook event (link: HERE). On that day, every several minutes, starting at noon, we are going to be publishing links to chosen video works along with short descriptions. We encourage you to talk with us about them in the comments section. Every work refers to the topic of LOVE in a different way. We are enjoying woks that are publicly available, showing that art can be watched and explored from our own computers.

Works that we are showing within the Slow Art Day:
– Jana Shostak: kocham cię! (2015)
– Piotr Wyrzykowski, Iliya Chickan: Atomic Love (2002)
– Izabella Gustowska: Róża – Miłość (2005)
– Janek Koza: Gra (2001)
– Bjørn Erik Haugen: What Does It Matter How Many Lovers You Have If None of Them Gives You the Universe (2012)
