Info

My work Allotments refers to the Polish tradition of the harvest festival and is a hybrid form of the street theatre. It comprises an action dedicated to the Reymont Allotments in Łódź. The audience, provided with maps, walks through the allotments. In the places marked on the map, there are QR codes that send to video films recorded with a mini DV camera in tribute to particular phenomena that characterize the singularity of the allotments.

My work for A greeting card for loved ones consists of six sculptural objects made for each of the six chapters of a hand-made album in the form of a children’s greeting card. The objects were incorporated by me into the space of the allotment house so that at first glance it would seem to be its natural part. The video displayed on the CRT TV set gives the objects a processual character. The project is dedicated to people whose memory I am trying to save.
