This is a 3D (stereoscopic) film shot with one DSLR camera without any digital special effects. The “shadows” are cast on the streets by the headlights of cars driving through the city. Every night, the city itself is overwritten like a retina thousands of times, and no one can decipher its memories.

Kazuhiro Goshima is a visual creator, he produces videos and multimedia contents as a freelance artist. His 3DCG work, FADE into WHITE #2 (2000), won the grand prize at the Image Forum Festival 2001, and FADE into WHITE #3 (2001) received an award at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, and also won the excellence award at the Japan Media Arts Festival. A number of his visual works have also come to be highly regarded at film festivals abroad, including the Award of Distinction at Ars Electronica Festival in 2014 for the Shadowland.
