In July, our Sunday program for children and their parents has a different formula. As in the previous year, we’ll be watching and reading interesting children books that we collected during the 4th Best Media Art Graduation Projects Competition exhibition.

For each of the works presented at the exhibition we chose one title, which corresponds with the subject of the work. Among the collected books there are “Ścieżka beseech stóp” by pracownia k (which we cooperated with in 2016 on the occasion of the Eco Expanded City project), “Z działki, z lasu i takie tam“ with recipes for preserves by Agata Królak, “Wędrówka Nabu” – a heart-warming story about the search for home, written by Jarosław Mikołajewski and illustrated by Joanna Rusinek, or funny “Nie odrobiłem lekcji, bo…“ by Davide Cali and Benjamin Chaud.

We’ll start every Sunday meeting with the presentation of the work at the exhibition. Then, we’ll read and talk about the book and the exhibition when lying comfortably on the mattresses. There will also be creative activities related to the theme of a given Sunday.

The exception will be Sunday, Jul 15, when we invite you to 上午, that is the Taiwanese matinée – straight from Taiwan to Wroclaw – curated by Yunnia Yang, who has been co-operating with WRO for a long time. This time, she’ll bring a set of brand new 9 specially selected award-winning animated films. The unique atmosphere, variety of techniques and high quality of Taiwanese animations will surely delight both kids and grown-ups!
