It could have happened, the group debuted in 2001 at the WRO Biennale, and immediately afterwards they traveled all over Europe: performing at Ars Electronica in Linz, Transmediale in Berlin, Exit Festival in Paris, Read Me Festival in Moscow, among others.

The hacked-up Gameboy consoles, networked, transformed into audiovisual instruments, quickly became a sensation, and the Gameboyzz Orchestra reached star status. Niche and supernova. They played their last concert in Wrocław on their 5th birthday in May 2006.

In October 2020, on the occasion of Paweł Janicki’s Point Nemo exhibition at the WRO Art Center, the Gameboyzz Orchestra met in its basic line-up: Jaroslaw Kujda (leader), Pawel Janicki, Malgorzata Kujda, Tomasz Prockow and Mariusz Jura (present through his pieces) to play the first concert after years in IP Studio.

The then recorded LOBO track produced by Paweł Janicki will be released on New Year’s Eve. The single announces a concert of the Gameboyzz Orchestra at the WRO 2021 Biennale REVERSO.
