There is no single institution able to cover, oversee, dominate, manage, handle, or simply trace ecological issues of large shape and scope. Many issues are too intractable and too enmeshed in contradictory interests. (Bruno Latour)

In the synagogue, a mikvah is a traditional place of purification. Impurities of conquest; issues of abuse, overproduction and destruction; generation of excess; superfluity of things, objects and states revealed in arts. The use of creativity and imagination; release from the swirling waste of the Earth and Space; efforts to ensure a sustainable development in the wobbly relationships of humans, nature and technology.
