Part of the Light Year exhibition are Trash Table meetings, during which we will explore issues of arte-facts, data ecology and the light years ahead (or behind) us.
On 12 January at 6 PM, we invite you to the WRO Art Center for a meeting, during which the artist Paweł Janicki will talk about his interactive installation Timeline, which is part of the current exhibition.
Timeline is also a way of chronologically organizing information so that subsequent events form a logical whole. It is the basis of writing, narrative, and cinema (moving image) – it is present in almost all media, not just the electronic fabric of culture, yet it is generally invisible.
So, at an upcoming meeting as part of the Trash Table series, we will pull the Timeline from behind the scenes onto the stage.
