Depending on the changing organizational conditions and sources of financial support, WRO Art Center offers various residency and internship opportunities to international artists, curators and students working in the field of media art. Our programs have – so far – included over 20 persons, whose works were later presented, among others, at successive WRO Biennale editions.
As a specialized place for student traineeships, we’ve become a partner for a consortium of four universities from Denmark, Austria, Poland and Hong Kong within the Erasmus Mundus joint master degree international program Media Arts Cultures. We’re also hosting trainees from the Erasmus+ program.
In 2017, we are launching the next edition of the Gaude Polonia scholarship program. The newest venture is the scholarship program funded by the Regional Government of Styria – St.A.i.R., and another edition of the residency program for the artists based in Austria organized with the Austrian Cultural Forum in Warsaw and the Artist In Residence Programme A-i-R Wro.
