A year ago in Szczytnicki Park we planted a plane – a tree, which is the basis for the sound work of Paweł Janicki’s NOUMEN. After entering the noumen.info website, a sound is generated in our device, the timbre and intensity depend on our distance from the tree, and all devices playing the composition synchronize with each other, creating an ephemeral, electronic ansambl.

Together we want to enter the space of Szczytnicki Park and play a joint concert for mobile devices, while maintaining the appropriate distance from each other. Documentation of the event will be one of the elements of the Point Nemo Garden project, which will be presented during the network edition of the Ars Electronica 2020 festival.

We invite you to the assembly point – the staircase in front of the Multimedia Fountain, from where we will go to Szczytnicki Park, on July 15 at 5 PM.
