Info

The December walking, listening and drawing – another activity of the Subjective atlas of reality series launched in 2016 – accompanies the POLISH SOUNDSCAPES exhibition. This time, participants of the walk are invited to listen to the city, pay attention to various sounds that are not usually registered in everyday experience. We believe that simultaneous drawing and listening will make us listen more closely, both during and after the meeting.

The walk will be led by Lena Czerniawska, a visual artist cooperating with WRO from 2016, who’ll inspire you to draw, and Marcin Dymiter, curator of the POLISH SOUNDSCAPES exhibition, author of sound installations, radio dramas, music for films, performances, exhibitions and public spaces.

The walk has a casual character, there is no age limit and you don’t need to have any drawing skills. You’ll get all the materials and tools you need from us. Write at zapisy@wrocenter.pl if you want to join the walk (please enter: SOUND in the title of the email, and your name, surname and age in the body of the email).

We start at 10 AM in front of WRO Art Center.
